Portsmouth announce second January signing as Derby County man seals switch

Pompey have delved into the transfer market for the second time this week as their January business accelerates.

John Mousinho’s have confirmed the signing of Derby County talent Ebou Adams, with the 30-year-old penning a two-and-a-half-year deal at Fratton Park.

Although the Blues have announced the Gambia international has arrived for an undisclosed fee, reports have suggested £500,000 was paid to secure the midfielder’s services.

Adams becomes the second signing this week after Millenic Alli sealed a loan move from Luton Town for the remainder of the season on Wednesday.

Pompey make the trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon, with the former Cardiff City and Forest Green man needing to be registered by midday on Friday to feature at Hillsborough.
