Portsmouth boss allays injury fears over popular January arrival after Millwall scare
Ebou Adams has started seven of his eight Pompey appearances following his January arrival from Derby County.
John Mousinho has allayed any injury fears to Ebou Adams following a scare against Millwall on Saturday.
The Blues continued their impressive run of form with an emphatic 3-1 triumph against Alex Neil’s promotion-chasing side.
But there was concern late in the victory, with Adams going down in an off-the-ball incident on the halfway line - sparking worry amongst supporters in the ground and on social media.
The midfielder has been an influential figure in Mousinho’s engine room following his £500,000 arrival from Derby County in January.
Having impressed in his eight Championship outings to date, the 30-year-old is quickly establishing himself as a firm fan favourite on the south coast.

With his introduction also coinciding with a hugely-impressive upturn in form by the Blues, the Fratton faithful were fearing the worst when he received treatment with 11 minutes to play at The Den.
But, the head coach has dismissed any worrying injury fears to Adams after slightly turning his ankle in the closing stages in south London.
Speaking after the triumph, Mousinho told BBC Radio Solent: ‘We would’ve taken him off if there was any concern.
‘I think he just slipped and there was a little bit of a turn of the ankle but he was absolutely fine.’
Adams quickly cemented himself into Fratton folklore after grabbing the equaliser against Southampton in January’s south-coast derby draw.
The former Cardiff City man has sinced added a further goal to his tally and has also started seven of his first eight games at PO4.
Pompey’s midfield injury concerns after Andre Dozzell blow

However, his injury concern against Millwall came at a time with the Blues continuing to be thin on the ground with available options in the engine room.
With Mark Kosznovszky ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury, Andre Dozzell became the latest casualty against Sheffield United earlier this month.
The 26-year-old suffered an ankle issue in the closing stages of the 1-0 defeat at Fratton Park and is now set for a spell on the sidelines.
In Dozzell’s absence, Marlon Pack has slotted in comfortably alongside Adams in the engine room, while John Swift has impressed in the more-advanced number 10 role in Conor Chaplin’s injury absence.
Should Adams accrue a further booking before or during the Blues’ game against derby in March then he will have to serve a two-match ban.
