'Rate him better than Marquis... give him more game-time' how Portsmouth fans reacted to Jordy Hiwula's new deal

The striker has penned fresh terms at Fratton Park despite being the subject of interest from League One rivals Swindon.

Hiwula joined the Blues in October but has had to be patient in his bid for regular minutes.

He’s only made five appearances for Kenny Jackett’s side but impressively scored three times.

It’s certainly a big boost for Pompey’s promotion hopes, with Hiwula hoping to reach the Championship for successive campaigns after going up with Coventry last term.

The Fratton faithful have been reacting to the news of Hiwula’s new deal.

Think I was a bit optimistic than most when I posted earlier in the week advantages that Jordy might see in staying with Pompey. Rather than moving to teams that were struggling. This could be the best business we do in the window
