And that proved their downfall against the Seasiders as the visitors claimed a 1-0 win thanks to Jerry Yates’ 82nd minute strike.
Defensively, the hosts looked stronger than their last outing against Bristol Rovers – although it would have been hard to repeat that showing.
Yet, as an attacking force, the Blues failed to inspire, hence the poor ratings offered to some of Kenny Jackett’s attacking players.
