With seven senior players departing on either permanent deals or loans, and four new arrivals coming through the door, no-one can accuse Danny Cowley of letting the moment pass him by.

But with just hours remaining in the window there’s still plenty of work to be done.

Another midfielder and a forward is the aim as the clock counts down to tonight’s 11pm deadline.

And with a game against Charlton to think about, too, no doubt the lights are already on at Fratton Park.
