Welcome to deadline day with The News

What a hectic month it has been on the transfer front at Pompey.

With seven senior players departing on either permanent deals or loans, and four new arrivals coming through the door, no-one can accuse Danny Cowley of letting the moment pass him by.

But with just hours remaining in the window there’s still plenty of work to be done.

Another midfielder and a forward is the aim as the clock counts down to tonight’s 11pm deadline.

And with a game against Charlton to think about, too, no doubt the lights are already on at Fratton Park.

Indeed, it’s fair to say those same lights will be burning late into the night as the Blues look to conclude their business.

As you’d expect, we’ll be there all the way to bring you all the latest developments from both at Fratton Park and around League One.

So sit back and relax, if you can. As we keep you up to speed!
