Pompey fans have taken to social media to express their views on the Blues’ goalless draw with Fleetwood.

Plenty were keen on placing blame on referee Alan Young.

Others, though, thought Pompey failed to do enough in the final third to justify the victory.

Despite the result, the Blues move up to second in the table after Lincoln lost at home to Shrewsbury.

Here’s what fans on Twitter had to say at the final whistle.

@jeffharris_665: Yes the ref was poor but we didn’t get enough shots on target (2 out of 14) during the entirety of the game but the plus points are we’re second and kept a clean sheet we’re not going to win every game but if we don’t lose it’s a point gained #pompey.

@capfc11: Fleetwood got exactly what they came for, but we didn’t offer enough in the final 3rd in the 2nd half.

Harrison done absolutely nothing to change the game up top. Still another point on the board, we go again #PUP #Pompey.

@pompey_goals: For me this is were Jackett fails us most, he’s too scared of losing rather than gambling to win.

It’s why we will most likely end up in the play offs.

Still we had four tough fixtures played 3 got 7 points conceded 0 we would of snapped that up before Peterborough. #pompey.

@wayneharrispfc: Slightly disappointed but in hindsight 7pts from Peterborough, Ipswich and Fleetwood I will take.

They will happier. Harrison worries me. Hiwula should be getting more time. Bring on Hull. Let's go.

@benboylin: Jordy Hiwula must be thinking roll on January!

@GavH_: Oh well can’t win them all, though earned point, had the better chances just couldn’t take one.

@dazza_nics: Didn’t do enough in that 2nd half. Harrison is such a negative sub, makes us go long & Marquis comes too deep, balls in the box 2nd half weren’t good enough either.

Draw the right result & tbh not the worst. Another point which takes us up to 2nd.

@Keironpfc17: A point isn’t the end of the world but it’s definitely 2 points dropped.

@FrattonFaithful: Not a great game but not the worst result in the world. Lacked any major threat but rarely troubled at the other end either. Ref was a total jobsworth.
