Sean Raggett has sealed a free-transfer move to Rotherham.

The defender has joined the Millers on a two-year deal following news that his Fratton Park contract will not be renewed.

He becomes manager Steve Evans’ fifth signing of the close season and is the second released Blues player to make the move to the New York Stadium, following confirmation of Joe Rafferty’s move to the League One new boys at the start of the week.

Both Raggett and Rafferty will officialyl complete their moves upon the expiry of their current Pompey deals at the end of June.

Raggett was a cult hero at Fratton Park, where he featured 239 times and scored 17 goals. He spent five seasons at the club, making 38 league appeareances this season as Pompey secured the League One title.

Rotherham find themselves back in League One following their relegation from the Championship. Raggett spent the 2018-19 season at Rotherham while on loan from Norwich.
