Do you agree with how Blues writer Jordan Cross saw it at Fratton Park?
5. Conor Shaughnessy 8
Pompey hadn’t scored on a Tuesday night since Shaughnessy’s title heroics - so it was fitting he marked his return to fitness with his first Championship goal for the Blues. Rock solid partnership with Rob Atkinson then worryingly curtailed after being withdrawn through injury in second half, after stoic display. | National World
7. Rob Atkinson 7
Head it, kick it. It’s no slight on the Bristol City loanee that it’s those rugged fundamentals of defending which stand out - it’s exactly what Pompey have needed in fact. A couple of really important interventions on this occasion, too. | National World
8. Connor Ogilvie 7
Dogged and dependable from Ogilvie once again, but married with some clever passes and through balls to create openings with more credit banked. | National World
