Kenny Jackett believes it will be ‘four to six weeks’ out for the attacking midfelder after he limped off at Sunderland with a knee issue.

Jacobs was taken off after 55 minutes of an impressive performance at the Stadium of Light.

The Blues are still awaiting the results of a scan the 28-year-old undertook today.

But Jackett is upbeat the outlook for the man who arrived last month will not be too drastic.

He said: ‘He’s having a scan today and the initial reaction without a scan is four to six weeks. That’s what the guys think.

‘It is what is, and we just hope now that the scan doesn’t throw anything worse at us.’
