Ronan Curtis makes statement in powerful attacking display as Portsmouth dismiss Northampton
Ronan Curtis saluted Pompey’s attacking might as he made a powerful impact on his return to the side.
The Republic of Ireland international grabbed a goal and had a hand in another as the Blues powered past Northampton with a 4-0 win.
The success was the Blues’ sixth in seventh as the season goes from strength to strength for Kenny Jackett’s side.
Curtis noted how the change to a 4-4-2 formation has had an impact in recent improvement.
He said: ‘It was a really good attacking display.
‘We’ve switched up the formation and I think we look really good going forward.
‘It was good to be back with an assist and a goal - and hopefully I can kick on from here.
‘I’ve done the best I can do. I’m in the team to assist and score goals.’
