Kenny Jackett’s men came from behind to take the lead against Joey Barton’s in-form side before having to settle for a 2-2 draw.

The Blues led through Harry Souttar’s 48th-minute own goal before the defender levelled seven minutes later.

Not being able to maintain that advantage was disappointing for Raggett, although he pointed to the fact Fleetwood are now unbeaten in 12 in the league and have lost one in 18 as evidence a point is not the worst return for his team.

Raggett said: ‘They have been in good form but we’re disappointed not to have come away from a win.

‘Maybe we should have seen the game after getting our noses in front.

‘We know though we’re going to have to finish the season strong.’
