Spurs youngster Harvey White handed Portsmouth opportunity for AFC Wimbledon visit

The teenage midfielder, who sealed a Fratton Park switch yesterday, has trained with his new team-mates just once before tonight’s encounter with AFC Wimbledon.

Yet he is among Kenny Jackett’s seven-man bench on an evening which could see the Blues return to League One’s top two.

Pompey’s boss has opted to retain the same side which claimed victory at Fleetwood on Saturday.

That is despite the return of Ronan Curtis after missing three matches through coronavirus.

Instead the Irishman is alongside White on the bench, with Michael Jacobs continuing on the left-hand side of midfield.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Whatmough, Raggett, Brown, Harness, Naylor, Cannon, Jacobs, Williams, Marquis.
