Here’s what they’ve been saying on fans’ return to Fratton Park and Tom Naylor’s imperious goalscoring form after his latest screamer.

Even listening to @Pompey on the radio, hearing our fans again, it just made me feel so alive it’s like the heartbeat is back In our wonderful football club PUP

Blessed to have been there today, but blatantly evident to see the effect the #Pompey faithful had on our players

@OliverHarry

The colder it gets, the better Tom Naylor plays.....

@BoxingFanatic_

Fratton Park only had 2000 but we had our best game of the season. Players taken to a new level. Tear in the eye at the start with the play up Pompey songs. Magical.

@lege20

Well I cheered and sang for us all and now have a lovely croaky voice

! Well worth it though - what a game everyone had and a fab result - onto the next game we go

The fact that 2000 #pompey fans can still make more noise than a lot of clubs with a full house amuses me greatly. You 2000 did the ones who couldn’t be there very proud!

Tom Naylor...worldy taker. What a strike! Again. The man deemed not good enough to play in the play-off semi-finals, due to it being ‘summer football’

That decision by Jackett will go down in history as the most absurd in our times. Especially with who replaced him.
