Best result ever for me, beating Mr me me Rednapp, after he took half are team with him. Look on his face at the end priceless

Ken Shepherd

Yes I was there very good win very good memories best game at Wembley so far I believe part from last year's win, lucky enough to be at all of the games in my lifetime at Wembley. When I was a child I’d watch the games on telly, didn't think Pompey would ever get there – brilliant memories.

I was there great day out. I remember the Tottenham fans seats turning red when they left early. Then we played Chelsea in the final and lost 1-0 great times.

Piquionne megging Gomes for 1-0. Couldn’t believe my eyes!

Best Wembley performance based on depleted team and Harry nicking all our players on the cheap. What a special day and performance. A team playing for the shirt without doubt. OMG - ROCHA ROCHA ROCHA. What a performance. Immense!

Lee Nicholls

I went with my Dad who had terminal cancer, but was determined to get to the match. I remember hugging him at the end as we both cried. Sadly he was to sick to make the final so that we his last ever live game.

That was our final that day. I can’t believe it was 10 years ago!

Mel Clarke

Amazing day. Loved it. My fondest memory was the look on my son's face at the end. Couldn't believe we had one and stuck it to those that had left us for a ‘bigger club and to win trophies’.

Christopher Elston

Apart from the obvious it was the wide open spaces around the stadium which were used as car parks. Then there were the remains of the buildings used for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924, at which my grandfather was employed as one of the security guards. By last year the whole area had been redeveloped with high rise buildings. Incredible!

Remember meeting some spurs fans before the game acting like they had won before a ball was kicked that made it all the more sweeter fantastic game great result and good drink in London after happy days.

I reckon I was one of the very last to leave the stadium. Just watched the seats empty around me, while I sat there, unable to move, still trying to take take it all in. Incredible day.

Johnny Barracuda

One of the best days ever didn’t expect to win and speaking to some spurs fans before they thought it would be four or five but to a man we defended superb. Rocha was like a man possessed, Brown and Mullins were superb.

Darren Archer

I was there. Never have I met or heard a bunch off arrogant spuds fans they all though it was a for gone conclusion they would win. Scenes at the end Pompey fans singing is there a fire drill as there fans emptied the stadium.

Mark Archer

Where was I? Wembley. What do I recall? Sadly very little as I was quite oiled!

Fondest memory of the day? Four pompey fans including me, out singing a carriage of spurs fans on tube up. Apparently, they don't like it when their manager is described as Judas. Who knew?

Brett Anderson

I won tickets from The News for that day! My favourite ever Pompey game. We had club Wembley seats in the Pompey end but surrounded by Spurs fans. Safe to say I wasn’t by the time the game was over!

Harry Haskett

I remember standing next to HR in the tunnel when we got the penalty. I really do like him, he’s a really nice person, but seeing his face when it went in was one I will never forget. I couldn’t watch, so I looked at him instead. Priceless.

I was there, flew over from Canada with my son, sat in the Spuds end, were in our seats taking photos then my son said we were on the big screen, check out my profile picture, it’s right there to see, great day out

Remember Crouch having a perfectly good goal ruled out and David James looking up to the sky laughing.
