The players who make up the XI will not doubt feel a sense of pride as they’re recognised as the best in the third tier.

There were be members of the dressing room at Pompey, Sunderland, Hull, Peterborough and the rest of the promotion-chasing teams all hoping to be make the 11-strong team.
