According to Sun on Sunday journalist Alan Nixon, Kenny Jackett wants to add the defender to his squad ahead of the Blues’ renewed League One promotion push.
Johnson’s been one of Stanley’s stand-out players since arriving from Middlesbrough in 2017.

Hide AdJoining initially on loan before making his switch permanent, the 23-year-old helped Accy to the League Two title in 2018.
And Johnson has been key in the past two seasons as John Coleman’s side retained their third-tier status.
In total, he’s made 119 appearances, scoring one goal.
Now Pompey are reportedly eyeing a move for Johnson, who could leave for a fee of just £200,000.
Nixon’s tweeted this morning that Johnson is ‘on his way’ to Fratton Park and is in the Blues’ price range.

Hide AdThe Yarm-born ace is into the last year of his contract at the Wham Stadium, after Accrington took up the option to extend his deal by 12 months earlier this summer.
The Blues currently only have one senior right-back heading into the upcoming League One campaign in James Bolton.
Haji Mnoga is currently deputy but is only 18 and has yet to make his Football League debut.
