Hide AdThe Waterlooville lad has made 19 appearances for Kenny Jackett’s side this season – including five in a makeshift right-back role.
A knee injury he suffered late on in the 2-2 draw against Peterborough on December 7 sidelined him for more than month.
Since recovering from injury, Haunstrup’s been an unused substitute twice and featured in the EFL trophy quarter-final victory over Scunthorpe last week.
He’s mainly been confined to a support-act role since graduating through Pompey’s academy, having been behind Enda Stevens and Lee Brown in the pecking order.
