According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are keen on a loan deal for the 20-year-old Frenchman, with a view to buy in the summer.

Adopo has made two appearances for the Serie A side but has not featured in the first team this season.

Il Toro are keen to trim their squad and Adopo, who is a former France under-18 international, could be one who heads out during the January transfer window.

Pompey are reportedly keen and have made contact with the Turin-based side over a potential switch.

Kenny Jackett has already signed two central midfielders so far this month.

Harvey White arrived on loan from Tottenham, while George Byers was recruited from Swansea on Saturday for the remainder of the campaign.
