The ex-Forest Green man has been on loan at League One rivals Oxford United this campaign and is preparing to face Pompey in the play-offs next week.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a good spell at the Kassam Stadium, netting 17 goals in 35 appearances.

Two of his efforts have been against Kenny Jackett's men, in the 2-2 Leasing.com Trophy draw in October and the 1-1 stalemate in the league at Fratton Park the following month.

Oxford are also supposedly interested in making Taylor's switch permanent.
