Verdict: Michael Jacobs is a cracking piece of business and will be a class signing for Portsmouth

The striker is set to be announced by Pompey as their latest signing later today and will bolster his new side going forward, after leaving Wigan in the summer.

Supporters have been reacting to the news on social media and they are almost unanimously pleased with the prospect of Jacobs arriving at Fratton Park.
