And that’s why McGeehan feels Jackett’s men can reach the fifth round of the historic competition for the first time since 2010.

Hide AdHe said: ‘I quite fancy us, to be fair. It’s a tough place for anyone to come and I fancy us.
‘It was close last season between who was promoted out of Pompey and Barnsley.
‘Obviously, Barnsley just scrapped it in the end but Fratton Park is a tough place to come and we had some good games last season.
‘It’ll be a close run-in. Both teams play different styles, so it’s hard to judge in that way.

McGeehan admits it’ll be a strange feeling watching Pompey playing against the side he’s tied down to until the summer of 2021.
He added: ‘I’ve only been away from Barnsley for a few weeks and it's definitely a weird one, but I’m quite excited to watch the game.’
