With 15 games remaining, Pompey are yet again in the race for the Championship.
They presently sit fifth and seven points outside the automatic promotion places, although Kenny Jackett is optimistic a top-two berth can still be secured.
However, the Blues boss reckons all of the current teams that sit in the top 10 will harbour second-tier ambitions of their own.
There’s still likely to be plenty of twists and turns to take place between now and the final day of the campaign on May 8.

5. 6th - Doncaster (52 points)
Andy Butler's taken charge at the Keepmoat for the rest of the season after Darren Moore's shock departure for Sheffield Wedneday and told Donny to leave nothing to regret. Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, he said: 'You have got to enjoy football and seize the opportunity if someone gives you it. We are in a fantastic position and I have said "Do not let it slip" because you will look back in your career once you have sat down and think "opportunity missed" and that is what I do not want this group of players to miss.' 6. 5th - Pompey (52 points)
Despite dropping from top to fifth, Kenny Jackett remains adamant the Blues can finally achieve promotion. He said: 'There are enough points to play for. There are still 45 points to play for and we will need a good percentage of those if we want to go up. Again, we have done it at different stages of the season and have to make sure I find the right combinations of players, the right mix. 7. 4th - Sunderland (54 points)
The Black Cats are unbeaten in their past six games and Lee Johnson is impressed by his side's mometum. He told the Northern Echo: 'Teams in this division are always going to take points off each other, so with 15 games left, we’ve just got to be relentless and try to win every game. 8. 3rd - Lincoln City (57 points)
Michael Appleton admits even he is shocked the Imps are challenging for the top two - and a play-off spot is the minimum they're now aiming for. He told The Athletic: 'It’s taken us by surprise. Our target this year was to try to finish in the top half of the table. I’d be a liar if I said it was about promotion this year but now we’ve put ourselves in a really strong position and if we don’t achieve at least the play-offs we’ll be disappointed and kicking ourselves a bit.'
