But what are those in the thick of the battle saying about the race for a spot in the Championship?
Scroll down and click through the pages as we round-up how League One clubs are viewing the promotion race as we enter the final few weeks of a dramatic season:
5. Sunderland - Phil Parkinson
“We’re still in the mix. We have to dust ourselves down after this, which we will do. We’ll get ready to go again on Saturday. We'd have taken this position around the Christmas period. As much as we're disappointed with this, there's plenty to play for and we need to be ready for the last 10 games - and I'm sure we will be.” | Getty Images Photo: Lewis Storey
6. Fleetwood Town - Joey Barton
"We're a dark horse but we're in the shake-up. If the guys keep on learning and taking it onboard then who knows." | Getty Images Photo: Alex Davidson
7. Oxford United - Matty Taylor
“We half looked dead and buried a month ago, but we didn’t panic. From where we were it was a bit doom and gloom, but now we’re right back in it.” | Getty Images Photo: OLLY GREENWOOD
8. Peterborough United - Darren Ferguson
“The top two is absolutely the target. But we will have to repeat the long winning run for it to happen. We are capable of doing it again and we are still within reach.” | Getty Images Photo: Nathan Stirk
