Young Portsmouth fan sends brilliant letter to Wycombe ahead of League One play-offs
Nine-year-old Jacob told of his love for the Chairboys as the 1-0 defeat at Adams Park earlier in September was his first Blues away day.
But Jacob stopped short of predicting Gareth Ainsworth’s men would reach the Championship.

Hide AdBut Jacob has forecast a 3-2 win for Kenny Jackett’s side at Wembley – with Ronan Curtis to notch a double and John Marquis also netting.
The letter, posted on Wycombe’s Twitter page, said: ‘To Wycombe FC, my name is Jacob and I am a big Portsmouth fan. I am nine years old.
‘I really like your football club because it was my first away game and you won 1-0.

‘My favourite Wycombe player is the BEAST (Adebayo Akinfenwa) as he always plays with a huge smile on his face.
