A STOPPAGE-TIME goal sent United Services Portsmouth tumbling to a 3-2 Wessex League division one defeat at Tadley Calleva.

The Sailors missed two penalties in the space of four minutes late in the second half.

Even so, Fuzz Kanjanda looked like rescuing a point for the visitors with an 89th-minute goal until Tadley struck again at the death.

In the first half, Callum Glenn netted a good 20-yard equaliser.

‘We probably didn’t deserve to win because of the amount of mistakes we made,’ said Services manager Bob Brady.

‘Our biggest problem is the failure to turn all our chances into goals.’

Goals from Callum Dart and Tyler Moret earned Baffins Milton Rovers a 2-1 win over Ringwood Town at the Kendalls Stadium.

Hayling United extended their lead at the top of the Hampshire League premier division by beating Colden Common 2-1 on home soil.

Aaron Behan and Kieran Carter netted for the hosts.

‘It was not our best performance and we made hard work of it,’ said joint-manager Dean Inman.

‘It does show we can still grind out a result when not playing particularly well.

‘Importantly it keeps our momentum going.’

Two goals from Chris Sales and one from Calum Britton guided Locks Heath to a 3-0 win at Infinity.
