Storm Dennis poses a huge threat to the game against Amesbury Town at the PMC Stadium this weekend.

Steve Leigh’s side have played the least number of games of any other team in the Wessex League.

This is largely down to the fact they have only been able to stage two home games since October 26 - and just four in all competitions since early November.

The latest casualty was their Wessex League Cup tie against Brockenhurst in midweek - a tie which has been called off four times.

Now, it has been switched to Brockenhurst on Saturday, February 22, in the hope of finally getting it played.

Overall, Baffins have managed to complete 22 league games in the space of six-and-a-half months.

They now have 16 left to cram into the final 10 weeks of the season.

Of those, 10 matches are still at the PMC Stadium, including six of their next seven fixtures and eight of their next 10.

After this weekend, they have home games on February 26, 29, Mach 4, 7, 11, 18 and 21.

And this on a pitch which has seen just a handful of games in four months.
