He signed on loan for Pompey in March but Blues fans have yet to catch a glimpse of new striker Conor Wilkinson in action.

Pompey striker Conor Wilkinson has yet to feature for the Blues since arriving on loan from Bolton in March

Well, until now that is.

Wilkinson has recovered from an untimely groin injury to be in contention for selection tomorrow’s season finale with Northampton Town (3pm) and demonstrated unerring accuracy in training earlier today – dispatching a stunning half-volley.

Pompey’s official YouTube channel posted the impressive finish earlier today and supporters will hope to see more of that from the Bolton loanee as they head into next week’s two-legged play-off clash with Plymouth.
