Ryan Woodford is convinced he 'scored' twice in the Hawks 2-1 National League defeat by Hartlepool United at Westleigh Park.

With the Hawks trailing 1-0 heading into the final ten minutes Woodford put in a powerful downward header which he reckoned should have counted.

'I 100 per cent scored two goals,' said Woodford. 'It was so clear. I have headed it and their goalkeeper has even held it in position two yards over the line. That is just the way it is going at the moment.

'A few minutes later I was able to get away from my man and headed into the far corner. But it means nothing if we don't come away with anything. We did more than enough to get something from the game again and played well.'

'It is just little lapses in concentration and unfortunately we have come away with no points. We need to keep plugging away and I am sure the results will come.'
