The popular 5k course always attracts a good crowd and has twice topped the 300 finishers.

It is a good test with nice trails and some steep hill sections, as well as plenty of mud during the winter months.

All parkruns are free events and rely on volunteers to make them happen each week. There are many different roles for people to take on.

It is a great way to be part of the event and give something back to the parkrun community.

The volunteer roles include marshal, timekeeper, barcode scanner, course set up, photographer and report writer among others.
