A number of Portsmouth School of Wrestling members will also be involved in the main event.

The Revolution Rumble has been expanded this year to include the 10 more fighters than in 2019.

In previous years, 30 wrestlers have piled into the ring WWE Royal Rumble style with the last person standing the winner.

But in 2020, a total of 40 will battle it out in order to be crowned Revolution Rumble winner.

And Simmonz, who will be fighting in the main event and a 3 v 3 tag team match, believes it’s going to be a great evening of wrestling.

‘The Revolution Rumble is our take on the WWE Royal Rumble,’ revealed Simmonz.

‘Every minute or so a new wrestler will enter the fight and the last person standing comes out the winner.

‘It’s going to be a great night, good fun for all the family.

‘It’s actually our biggest show of the year, so we’ll be kicking off 2020 with a big bang.

‘The Portsmouth School of Wrestling runs five or six shows in Portsmouth.

‘The Revolution Rumble is always our most popular.

‘Normally, we do a 30-person Revolution Rumble.

‘But this year we’ve put 10 more wrestlers into it.

‘We’ve got wrestlers from all over the world, we’ve got wrestlers from America, Japan and we’ve got a wrestler from Tonga.

‘It’s exactly the same rules as the WWE Royal Rumble.

‘It’s easy to follow, even if you’re not a wrestling fan I guarantee you’ll have a good night.’
