It will be the same course previously used for summer events, which were postponed this year due to the pandemic.
The Gosport Golden Mile is a pancake flat, one mile course along the promenade.

The Gosport Golden 5k immediately follows the Golden Mile.
There will be prizes for leading runners and all participants will receive a festive medal.
Rather than a single start time for all runners, organisers will be operating a pre-booking system with start times available in three-minute slots. Mile races will be from 8am through to 10am.
The 5k waves will start at 11am, and a maximum of 12 people will start in each slot. The last wave will start at 1pm.

In other Covid-related changes, there won’t be any water stations along the course and all race and age group winners will have their prizes posted to them.
Spectators are not encouraged to attend, but if they do they should not congregate around the start and finishing areas.
