Allen hit a century break of 132 as well as half-century visits of 85 and 51 on his way to securing a spot in the second round.

It was the second time the Havant potter has faced top 10 player Allen since turning pro in September.

On that occasion, Wilson shared the four frames (2-2) they played in the Championship League group stages.

The teenager, still searching for a first win since making it on the main tour after qualifying through Q School, is entered in the Scottish Open where he will face Martin O'Donnell.
