The Havant potter, 17, produced a near faultless performance to record a 6-0 triumph over an opponent 33 years his senior in the World Championship first round qualifying stage this afternoon.

Teenage cueist Wilson struck three half-century breaks in the final four frames of the match to move a step closer to reaching the Crucible Theatre.
