Waterlooville's Mark Chamberlain at his ferocious best with crushing knockout win against Jordan Ellison

Mark Chamberlain landed another crushing knockout victory as he extended his perfect professional record to 8-0 this evening.

The ferocious Waterlooville lightweight was in no mood for messing around, defeating Jordan Ellison in the first round live on BT Sport at the Copper Box Arena.

Chamberlain landed a crushing body blow on his opponent and he was unable to get back to his feet.

It was another statement victory from the big punching southpaw in front of promoter Frank Warren.

The 22-year-old's reputation continues to grow with this his fifth victory out of eight in the pro ranks inside the distance, with all of those coming in the first round.

Admittedly, Chamberlain was expected to win against Ellison, who's won just of his 45 pro bouts.

But the southpaw is surely now putting himself in the reckoning for a title fight with an impeccable step up into the pro ranks so far.
