On Portsmouth FC – The News and portsmouth.co.uk the Fratton faithful have been debating who they think should start up front against the Pilgrims.
Here’s what they had to say ...
Alan Chandler
Think we’ve Chaplin scoring last night, Jackett may well start him Saturday. Thompson to come in at left back to allow Clarke to partner Hawkins at centre half.
Tim Nobbs
Would like to see Main continue to get a chance, but Chaplin also deserves the opportunity to start.

Main and Hawkins have both done decent jobs up top this season, but if we can get Chaplin in the team and get the right service into him–which shouldn’t be too hard with Kennedy in the side and Naismith’s form on the up–then he will score goals.
Given that Bennett has struggled in a closer role to Pitman in Jackett’s rejigged 4-4-2, I hope that Chaplin gets a chance as the second striker when Pitman is back.
Luke Ellis
Away at Plymouth last season, I remember Chaplin giving their big defence the absolute run around and I couldn’t believe it when we took him off.
Their defenders are big and strong but they don’t deal with movement.
In physical battles against Main they would probably just about come out on top, so I would back Chaplin for this game.
