The home side threw away a two-goal first-half lead and in the end Leigh was relieved to come away with a share of the spoils.

Baffins got off to a flyer when after three minutes Ashton Leigh fired in a free-kick from outside the area.

Two minutes later Shane Cornish extended the lead by heading in a Leigh free-kick.

Two goals in four minutes for the visitors at the start of the second half turned the game on its head.

Harry Jackson grabbed a brace as Horndean stormed back to winning ways with a 3-1 win at Brockenhurst.

Jack Maloney sealed the win with a late penalty.

Deans boss Michael Birmingham was pleased.

He said: '˜This is an excellent result because it is never easy to get anything at Brockenhurst.
