'˜Fantastic' Ibra Sekajja has made key Hawks attacking impact

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder produced eye-catching displays at Barnet and against Solihull Moors at Westleigh Park.

He hasÂ provided greater impetus through the midfield.

Up until then it had been an area dominated by the home side who had made lots of ground bursting up the middle of the pitch.

The arrival of Sekajja gave them a lot more to think about.

Against Solihull he proved to be the Hawks most dangerous attacker with his ability to run at and take on defenders.

On a number of occasions he worked himself into good positions and the only thing missing was the final ball.

Bradbury believes he can be a useful asset in the Hawk's bid to stay in the Vanarama National League.

The Hawks boss said: '˜I thought Ibra was fantastic against Solihull.

'˜He has just signed a permanent contract with us and that is well deserved. I have admired him since his time at Dulwich Hamlet.

'˜He gives us something different to what we already have.

'˜Ibra can be a real threat and the position we play him suits him.

'˜If we can give him the ball facing forwards then he can cause opponents all sorts of problems. He has got good balance, great pace and is good on the ball. Also he will score goals.

'˜We need to get him fitter because he hasn't played a lot and only trained since the end of last season.

'˜He will only get better and better I am sure.'

Sekajja's performances couldn't have come at a more welcome time with injuries disrupting the Hawks.

The absence of Wes Fogden in the middle of the park has been a big miss.

His energy and non-stop running has been a major factor behind the Hawks success in recent years.

SekajjaÂ provides a similar crucial momentum going forward.

Midfield in general has proved a problem area for Bradbury with Mike Carter and Brian Stock also spending time on the sidelines.

FortunatelyÂ Stock is back in contention for theÂ trip to Wrexham on Saturday.

He missed the Solihull game because of a one-match suspension.

The Hawks Academy are in FA Youth Cup action against Moneyfields at Westleigh Park on Wednesday nightÂ (7pm).
