And he reckons home advantage will be key in their first-round qualifying tie against Thamesmead Town on Saturday (3pm).

'˜There is £6,000 up for grabs in this game and we must make sure we don't miss out,' said Carter.

'˜This competition is massive for clubs like us.

'˜The prize money for each round has gone up this year.

'˜We have already earned £3,000 from the last round.

'˜While you can't budget for it, the money coming in will help the club achieve what it wants to do going forward.

'˜The most important thing is to make sure we are in the hat for the next round.

'˜Thamesmead play at the same level as us in the Bostik south east division.

'˜We must look to make the most of home advantage.

'˜Ideally we can get the job done first time around because we don't want to be going to Dartford in midweek for a replay.

'˜In the FA Cup if you get some favourable draws who knows where it can take you.'

Moneyfields have failed to repeat last season's unbeaten start to the season.

But Carter isn't too concerned as players return and he sees his squad beginning to gel.

'˜At the start of the season I was having to fit square pegs in round holes,' said Carter.

'˜Players were having to play out of position.

'˜But with players coming back we are getting more consistency.

'˜Performances have been okay and we are getting better every game we play.'

Apart from striker Steve Hutchings, Carter will select from a full-strength squad.

Hutchings is now more than halfway through his 10-match ban.

Moneys have also been boosted by the return of experienced pair Brett Poate and Lewis Fennemore.
