Stubbington 10k race ready for return
Last year Great Britain international Natasha Doel took the ladies’ prize.
The Aldershot, Farnham & District athlete led a strong women’s field.

Hide AdDoel won with a time of 35min 08sec, ahead of Winchester’s Lucy Elliott who recorded 36.12 and Erica Fogg, from New Forest Runners, who finished in 36.30.
Winchester’s Toby Lambert was the first male finisher as he clocked a time of 30.35.
He held off the challenge from Aldershot’s Joe Wade who finished in second place as he crossed the line in 30.41.
Daniel O’Boyle was the first athlete from host club, Stubbington Green Runners, recording 31.36.

Hide AdA total of 1,665 finishers ensured the race was a spectacular success.
And this time around the popular event was closed to entries two months ago.
It is number six in the 2015-16 Hampshire Road Race League.
After the Victory 5, Stubbington Green Runners are currently third in men’s A division one.
Portsmouth Joggers are second in men’s division two, with Fareham Crusaders in fourth spot.

In the ladies’ individual rankings, Portsmouth Joggers athlete Naouele McHugh leads the way out of all those who have completed all five races so far.
Tomorrow’s race starts at 10am with the headquarters at Crofton Community Centre, Stubbington Lane, PO14 2PP.
There is limited parking available for runners at Crofton Secondary School, Crofton Anne Dale Junior School and Baycroft School.
The course is flat with a sprinkling of gentle inclines.
Runners can look forward to 8k of closed smooth-surfaced roads and plenty of support to help cheer everyone to the finish.
