Holidaymakers are stepping aboard a luxury cruise ship in Portsmouth that visited the city for the first time.
Hundreds of passengers are being welcomed on the Azamara Quest cruise ship. She’ll be departing from Portsmouth International Port this evening (August 19) on an 11-day voyage to northern France, Spain, and Portugal.
Many of the guests aboard ship have spent more than £10,000 for their holiday, taking advantage of the various amenities on board. These include seven restaurants, cafes, sauna, refreshing swimming pool, revitalising spa, cabaret lounge, shops, running track, gym, and sun deck - alongside various cabins with gorgeous views.
The ship entered service in 2007 and can carry up to 710 passengers in sumptuous comfort, alongside 410 crew members. After previously touring around Ireland, the vessel will be visiting Honfleur, St Malo, Bilbao, Porto, and other destinations.
