The undoubted highlight last weekend was definitely at The Bandstand, with an estimated 15,000 people coming down to see Rhythm of the 90s! A massive feat for this venue!

Launching us off tonight will be one of Portsmouth’s leading drum and bass record labels, Murky Digital, back again at The Old Barn, Milton. After the success of their last cracking event they will be joined this time by Too Greezy, Malicious, Snatch, Sane, MC Shocker, Nooch, Sick Matter, Dutte, Soundz and Cbiz with MC Stewzee, Banksy, Velos and MC Rivmik; a real diverse amount of local talent in drum and bass!

Tomorrow, techno and tech house outfit Jagged Tek will be returning for their residency at Shack Bar, Albert Road.

Jagged Tek comprises of DJs Toby and Justin Kemp alongside Luke Fuller and have a keen focus on driving underground house and techno beats. With previous events filling the venue up quickly, expect a busy one!

Entry will be free as usual, from 9pm until 1am with more details at facebook.comMeanwhile at The Old Barn tomorrow, Zeal Movement are back again after their Pyramids debut with Kry Wolf. This time they are presenting all things deep/tech house with DJ Ellie Cocks, Lindsey Matthews and a special to be announced guest.

Expect plenty of bumping house vibes! Doors will be open from 6.30pm to 1.30am and tickets will cost £16.90 from residentadvisor.netOn Monday, Delight will be presenting its annual beach party at Astoria, Guildhall, with promises of two floors of alternative festival anthems from 10pm until 2am with a secret outdoor after party.
