On the festival front this weekend, many will be attending NASS Festival in Somerset for their dose of live music accompanied by international BMX/skateboarding talent and competitions.

Tonight on the alternative music front, be sure to hit Wolf Cub Club at The Edge of The Wedge, Albert Road with DJ Pete Scathe from 11.15pm to 2am. Expect plenty of alternative rock, pop and indie anthems! The event sees a creative clash of house and bass focused music with the line-up consisting of DJs Nik Nuting, Grant Taylor, Pointfour, Ethan Owen and Nothern.Soul. It’s free entry all day and Chicnoir will continue the party inside after 8pm! More details at facebook.comTomorrow night also see the second Amplified Records showcase at The Old Barn, Milton, for the launch of Abbos latest EP, Drug Free, which is out now in digital stores. Expect nothing less than an evening of stellar tech-house mixes and productions from the label residents. DJs As-One, Alex Fowlie, Latecomer, Abbo and James Dexter will be performing. The residency will see DJs Jason Webster and Ted @ The Controls host a 4 hour slot every Sunday from 4pm until 8pm playing the finest and freshest reggae, dub and ska rhythms no doubt! The residency slot will be free and also feature guest DJs to mix alongside the duo.
