Headbanging heaven as Takedown Festival shakes Portsmouth Guildhall to fans delight - in pictures

Rock and metal fans headed to Portsmouth Guildhall this weekend as a popular independent festival had them jumping for joy.

Takedown Festival returned to Portsmouth Guildhall for two days worth of acts on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. Music fans were able see a range of acts over three separate stages.

It was another successful year for the festival with headliners, PRESIDENT and Therapy? joining the likes of The Wildhearts, INME and As It Is in raising the roof.
