Icebreaker Festival set to return even bigger than before

Icebreaker, the music festival devoted to local talent, has announced it will be back bigger and better in the new year.

Organisers LM Festivals say they will be upping the number of venues involved in the Albert Road and Elm Grove area of Southsea from 10 to 12.

In a statement they say: ‘We are thrilled to have The Royal Albert and The Wine Vaults on board as our new venues and the return of The Wedgewood Rooms, Edge of the Wedge, Al’Burrito, The Loft, Little Johnny Russell’s, The Fat Fox, The Atrium, One Eyed Dog, The Deco and The Honest Politician.’

Icebreaker was runner-up to Victorious in the Best Event category at this year’s WOW247 Awards.

Tickets go on sale today through the event’s revamped website and from seetickets.com at the advance price of £12.
