Keydell Nurseries delays launch of Christmas shop due to issues with stock arrival
Christmas is coming
Keydell Nurseries has pushed back the launch date of its magical Christmas shop due to problems with stock.
The Horndean garden centre is known for its fairytale winter walk and Christmas shop that sees a large portion of the store stocked from top to bottom with festive decorations that attracts huge crowds.

But this year, the date for the shop has been pushed back to Saturday, October 3 due to delays of merchandise arriving. The initial open date was anticipated to be September 26, with the team already starting to create their one-of-a-kind displays.
In an update on its social media, the garden centre said: “We’re sorry for the change of date, but we want to make sure we have plenty of your Christmas favourites ready for you. We can’t wait to welcome you in and get the Christmas season started.”
The centre has also announced the return of its annual winter walk, complete with Santa’s grotto, which will be open from November 21. To celebrate the festive season, families are being invited to visit the garden centre on November 20 to see the arrival of Santa and his friends in an American police car. Complete with a DJ and fairground rides the evening is a perfect way to get in the spirit of Christmas.
