FOR KIDS: Go along and join in the fun and laughter with Silly Scott's fantastic magic shows. Also, meet his famous magical bunny. The Boardwalk, Port Solent, tomorrow, 11am. 

 

THEATRE: Transport yourself back to 1941, in the midst of the Second World War, and into a strange meeting between two physicists. Chichester Festival Theatre, tonight, 7.45pm.

TALK: Michael Forrest, an expert in Victorian military history, will be discussing the Victorian defences of Portsmouth and the Portsdown forts. £5. Royal Armouries Museum, Fareham, tonight, 7.30pm. 

 

WALK: Enjoy a Spice Island guided walk and learn about the centuries of Spice Island history and its importance as a major port importing spices from around the world. £3. Visitor Information Centre, The Hard, today, 10.30am. 

 

EVENT: This Teacher's Retreat is a two-day workshop for dance and drama teachers to learn new top tips. Both days are filled with fun activities to ignite fresh ideas. The Point, Eastleigh, tomorrow, 11am. 

 

STAGE: If you love acting, it's never too late to join the Over-60s Drama Group, the Company of Elders, and re-discover your love for theatre. The Groundlings Theatre, Kent Street, tomorrow, 10am-12pm.
