Congratulations to everyone who completed today’s Great South Run.
The 10-mile course takes runners through Southsea, Old Portsmouth and the city centre, before heading back to Eastney and towards the finish line.
Runners set off in waves, based on ability, which are sorted when registering for the event. The purple wave is typically among the largest group of runners, with many taking part for charity.
