9. Halloween fun at Boathouse 4
Enter if you dare as Boathouse 4 in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard offers a whole host of free activities for all members of the family to get involved with. They include:Spooky badge Making (50p per badge), Trick or Treat hunt, design your own pumpkin, activity sheet (with a prize to be won at the end) and rope making. Boathouse 4 is free to enter, just ask for a Heritage Quarter Pass at the Visitor Centre. 10. Portsmouth Comic Con Spooktacular
If you’re looking for some free hair-raising fun, fiendish photo opportunities and wicked chances to win, head to Gunwharf Quays on Wednesday, October 25 from 10am - 2pm, where Portsmouth Comic Con presents a half term Spooktacular! Go along in your own spooky fancy dress and pose for selfies with a giant inflatable Incredible Hulk and a host of superheroes from Comic Con’s cosplayers, Dream Team Portsmouth. 11. Kids' Club at Port Solent
The fantastic free Port Solent Kids Clubs continue this term with no pre-booking required. Youngsters can do the monster mash at the Halloween disco sessions on Tuesday, October 24 where everyone can join the party for fun and games at at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.! Then on Thursday, October 26 Silly Scott will be conjuring up thrills and chills – and lots of laughs too – at his Spooktacular Magic Shows at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
