A great day out: 10 must-see moments for motor racing fans at Goodwood Revival 2023

Whether you love fast cars, vintage clothing, foodie delights or fun in the sun with family, the Goodwood Revival is a must-attend event as the summer calendar draws to a close.
Taking place near Chichester, Goodwood Revival takes place from September 8-10, and tickets are now limited.
To whet your appetite, we’ve picked 10 must-see moments.

See the stars
Go celeb spotting with iconic track talent from today and yesteryear, together with some famous faces from showbiz and beyond, as the event draws in a quality crowd. This year’s top drivers haven’t yet been announced, so be sure to keep an eye out for the exciting line-up.
Retro restoration
Revival is about more than just cars, it’s a throwback to halcyon days which celebrates vintage style, not vintage values. Belongings became cherished items to be looked after over a lifetime and beyond, and that’s the ethos behind the Revive and Thrive areas, with workshops, demos and talks on all things vintage.

Snap happy
While Revival may be about going back in time, it’s bang up to date when it comes to Instagrammable memories – with plenty of backdrops, props, and even makeover moments. Don’t forget to capture your favourite moments, and share them online using #GoodwoodRevival and/or #ReviveAndThrive.
Get your motor running
Of course, Goodwood Revival wouldn’t be the highlight of the year without the chance to see heritage on wheels, as priceless cars are driven by legends of the sport. Watch and marvel as they compete on sustainable fuels for the first time in The Fordwater Trophy, a revitalising combination of vintage and motorsport. Also don’t miss out on what is arguably the most competitive race of the event, the Settrington Cup, a thrilling pedal car race that is bound to bring a smile to your face.

Catwalk kings and queens of yesteryear
While vintage cars evoke memories of halcyon days, embracing the fashion of the 1940s, 50s and 60s makes it an immersive weekend in every way. You can dress to impress (and you might even win a prize), or simply browse the many stalls along the Revival Highstreet celebrating vintage style; you’re sure to find plenty of hidden treasures!
A tribute for the centenary of a legend
In what would have been his 100th year, the Goodwood Revival pays tribute to the life and career of Carroll Shelby, designer and developer of the AC Cobra and Shelby Daytona Coupe. His iconic cars will be stars of the show both on and off the track.
The foodies’ festival
Fast cars and fantastic fashion need sustenance – and that’s where the dining options come into their own, from delicious delights in the hospitality tents to a quick snack on the go provided by local food exhibitors in attendance, Goodwood – or should we say Foodwood – has got you covered.
Flying high
If you love fast cars, chances are you like aviation too, and a visit to Goodwood Revival brings a chance to see the outstanding Concours d’Elegance Freddie March Spirit of Aviation collection. This gives you the chance to wonder at some of the most-rarely seen aircraft both up close and in the sky.
Shop ’til you drop
Is it really a festival if there isn’t the chance for some retail therapy? Enjoy browsing the Revival High Street, for vintage items, gifts, and memorabilia, including clothing and furniture. This is the perfect place to get treats for family or friends who weren’t lucky enough to attend with you!
All the fun of the fair and more
Last but not least … create glorious memories and take a turn around the fairground, watch something awesome on the giant Sky Cinema screen or snap up a bargain at Bonham’s Auction. All in all, there’s plenty of fun to be found outside of the Motor Circuit action, making this a great day out.
