We’ve all enjoyed a few days of welcome warm sun, but the rain has come back with a vengeance and does not look great throughout the day. The Met Office predicts the showers may dissipate by tomorrow, but the warm weather looks set to end.
Even on a miserable day, Portsmouth is blessed with a wide variety of tourist attractions perfect for families. The park may not be the best place to take your child today, but there are so many other options to keep them entertained before they go back to school.

2. Fort Nelson

3. Clarence Pier
The penny slots are always a winner all year round with both Clarence Pier and South Parade Pier along Southsea seafront providing great options within the family arcades to occupy all of the family. 4. Retro Gameplay
You can turn back the clock at Retro Gameplay in Cosham High Street where people can pay an entrance fee and can play 'retro' board games or computer games inside.
